CROWDFUNDING SYSTEMS: evaluation and government regulation in the conditions of reengineering
The main mission of this body may be: ڰ consumer protection, i.e. providing an appropriate level of protection for mediators, moderators of crowdfunding platforms, authors and contributors of projects; ڰ protection of financial markets, i.e. support and protection of the entire financial system of Ukraine; ڰ promoting competition (encouraging more effective competition in the interests of consumers). It is proposed to provide funding for such a body not at the expense of budget funds, but thanks to the participants of the crowdfunding system that fall under the regulation of this body. This model will increase the level of independence of the institution. The Association should be required to be accountable to public authorities, such as the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine or the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine. For example, a similar body exists in the UK and it is accountable to the Parliament and the Treasury, which is responsible for the financial system. To analyze and constantly monitor the state of crowdfunding activities, it is advisable to use the following macroeconomic indicators: 1. Absolute: ڰ total amount of financial resources accumulated through crowdfunding ( ܸ ), %: ܸ ൌ ܴ ǡ where ܴ — the total amount of funds raised by crowdfunding projects of a certain type of crowdfunding, monetary units; ݅ — the type of crowdfunding project. ڰ a total number of crowdfunding platforms that exist in a particular country ( ܳܲ ), %: ܳܲ ൌ ܳܲ ǡ ɞɟ ܳܲ — ɤɿɥɶɤɿɫɬɶ ɩɥɚɬɮɨɪɦ ɩɟɜɧɨɝɨ ɬɢɩɭ ɤɪɚɭɞɮɚɧɞɢɧɝɭ ; ݅ — ɬɢɩ ɤɪɚɭɞɮɚɧɞɢɧɝɨɜɨɝɨ ɩɪɨɟɤɬɭ . 2. Relative: ڰ The average amount of financial resources accumulated through a single crowdfunding project ( ܯ ܸ ), %: 117
