the state, Ukrainians most trust the State Pension Fund (more than 50% of respondents gave the answer «I rather trust than I do not» and «I trust») and state banks (38%) (Fig 3.5). According to this study, only 15% of respondents answered «fully trust» or «rather trust» private banks. Other financial and credit intermediaries are almost not trusted by the population. Fig 3.5. The confidence level of the Ukrainian population in financial and credit institutions Note: formed based on (USAID) The level of confidence of the Ukrainian population in such a tool as crowdfunding is even lower, because the state does not take any responsibility for contributions to crowdfunding projects and does not provide any guarantees, and for Ukrainians, guarantees by the state play the most significant role. A prerequisite for the active use of crowdfunding in the developed countries is the presence of a significant number of entrepreneurs and potential investors.
