CROWDFUNDING SYSTEMS: evaluation and government regulation in the conditions of reengineering
CONCLUSIONS The monograph provides a theoretical generalization and offers a new solution to the scientific problem of evaluating and regulating crowdfunding systems in the context of reengineering. Based on the results of the research, the following conclusions of the methodological and applied direction were formed: 1. Having analyzed the achievements of scientists and practical experience in applying crowdfunding, it was found that it is necessary to implement a comprehensive study of this concept with an emphasis on its state regulation. At the same time, crowdfunding is proposed to be interpreted as an innovative tool, which makes it possible to accumulate financial resources from a large number of participants for the implementation of innovative, social and business projects using specialized Internet resources for a certain financial, material or non- material reward. 2. The monograph developed the conceptual and terminological apparatus for crowdfunding, in particular, defined the essence of the concepts «crowdfunding», «crowdfunding system», «crowdfunding activity», «crowdfunding project», «crowdfunding platform» and others. In particular, under the concept of «crowdfunding activity», it is proposed to understand the type of business activity for the mobilization of financial and other resources using specialized Internet resources from various sources for the implementation of innovative, social and business projects, which requires special competencies from the project authors (recipients), which can affect making a positive decision by the contributor. The concept of «crowdfunding project» is proposed to be considered as a time- limited activity of one or more project authors (recipients), which consists in placing information about the project on a crowdfunding Internet resource in order to receive a certain amount of funds from a significant number of contributors with or without financial or material remuneration. The crowdfunding platform is proposed to be considered as a specialized Internet resource that functions for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and placing crowdfunding projects on it for profit or charity. Such terminology clarifications allow us to distinguish crowdfunding from other traditional and non-traditional financial instruments. Therefore, this makes it impossible to identify crowdfunding with investing, fundraising, 133
