Reasons for not participating in crowdfunding on crowdfunding platforms Note: formed by the authors based on the results According to the results of processing the received data of the survey, we can state the fact that most people know about the most popular crowdfunding platforms in the world — Kickstarter (63% of respondents), Indiegogo (55% of respondents) and the Ukrainian one — Ukrainian philanthropic marketplace — 51% of respondents. The survey also found out the respondents' opinion on the complexity of creating and hosting a crowdfunding project (Fig 2.18) Thus, about 75% of respondents indicated that, in their opinion, the process of creating and hosting a crowdfunding project is complex and long-lasting, and only 3% of respondents can say the opposite. 22% indicated that the process should not be more complicated than raising funds using other traditional and non-traditional methods of financing. Respondents were also surveyed for confidence in crowdfunding technologies (Fig 2.19).
