15 UGCC Pastoral Renewal Program In 2011 the Synod of Bishops of the UGCC together with His Beatitude Sviatoslav initiated a pastoral renewal program, focusing on six key areas of life in the parish community: In September 2019 the Working Group of the Vibrant Parish Program officially ended its mandate after presenting its final report to the Synod of Bishops in Rome. Pastoral Letter of His Beatitude (2011) An Instrumentum Laboris for the clergy (2012) A Handbook for Pastoral Planning (2014) An instruction on Stewardship of Divine Gifts: A Christian way of Life (2015) An annual Mission Days program (since 2014) Parish statistical surveys and analysis (for 2011, 2013, 2015; planned for 2017) A Patriarchal Assembly (Sobor) focusing on the "Vibrant Parish" (2015) Focus on specific annual themes (2014: Evangelization, 2015: Stewardship, 2016: Divine Mercy, 2017: Diakonia; 2018: Liturgy and Prayer; 2019: Word of God and Catechisis.) The program has been promoted through a number of key documents and initiatives: The Word of God and Catechesis Liturgy and Prayer Service to one's Neighbor Leadership — Stewardship Community — Unity A Missionary Spirit A good collection of handful resource materials (among them videos on vibrant parishes, handbook on pastoral planning, mission days guidebooks, stewardship materials etc.) has been elaborated.
