17 May 18, 2019 — the UGCC Commission on Family organized the sixth annual Family Day Congress in Lviv attended by 300 people, representatives of various family movements and parish family groups May 23-24, 2019 — the Synod of Bishops of Kyiv-Halych Major Archbishopric was held in Lviv with the main theme dedicated to family ministry May 28-31, 2019 — Networking Congress of prison chaplains in Lviv June 4, 2019 — enthronement of His Excellency Borys Gudziak as new Archbishop- Metropolitan of Philadelphia 5-6 July 2019 — an ex - traordinary meeting of the Permanent Synod of Bishops of the UGCC with the Holy Father Pope Francis and the superiors of the competent Dicast- eries of the Roman Curia in Vatican June 8, 2019 — an annual pil- grimage for medical person- nel and medical chaplains to Hoshiv monastery organized by the Commission on the Commission on Pastoral Health Care attended by 2500 participants from all over Ukraine June 8, 2019 — III annual pilgrimage of the members of altar boys and Marian societies attended by almost 4 000 participants June 26, 2019 — All- Ukrainian pilgrimage to Stradch dedicated to the Day of laity and 30th anniversary of the UGCC exiting from the catacomb period
