19 December 11-12, 2019 — a pastoral visit of His Beat- itude Sviatoslav to Kazakh- stan on the occasion of the enthronement of Apostolic administration for Ukrainian Catholics in Kazakhstan and Central Asia Rev. Vasyl Hovera December 17, 2019 — a session of the Permanent Synod of Bishops in Washington , DC. Meetings with the Ukrainian community, representatives of the State Department, the Catholic University of America and the USCCB secretariat. Ukrainian Catholic leaders expressed their gratitude for the support the USCCB gave the UGCC to strengthen and rebuild its structures December 2-6, 2019 — the first meeting of the General Assembly of the Pastoral Council of the UGCC took place in Lviv. 35 advisers of the Head of the UGCC from all over the world came together for the first time to develop pastoral guidelines in collaboration with the Patriarchal Curia December 17, 2019 — launching of an Association of Catholic lawyers of Ukraine . The first gathering took place in Kyiv, organized by the Department of external relations of the Patriarchal Curia in cooperation with the Commission on laity December 10-11, 2019 — International Conference "Laudato Si: Environmental Contribution to Sustainable Development of Society" organized by the Bureau on ecology in Kyiv December 11-12, 2019 — networking Congress of military chaplains in Kyiv organized by the Military chaplaincy department followed by a special training on "Tactical medicine" for 68 military chaplains of the UGCC
