34 Cateches i s and Cathol i c educat ion mini st r y The Catechetical Commission organized a 3-day conference "Christian pedagogic: systems, experience and perspectives" on July 5-7, 2019 in Lviv Holy Spirit Seminary with participation of 182 catechists and teachers. This year’s conference was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Blessed Josafata Horda- shevska, the founder of the Congregation of Sisters Servants of Mary Immacu- late. The conference included the following topics: philosophical background of Christian pedagogic (Dr. Oleh Shepetiak); Christian education in the UGCC (s. Natalia Melnyk); actual state of Christian education in Catholic and cat - echetical schools of the UGCC (Mr. Nazar Duda); experience of Christian educa- tion and formation of the religious congregation of Sisters Servants (s. Khry - stofora Bushtyn), Basilian sisters (s. Eremia Steblyna), and Salesian brothers (Rev. Oleh Landyk, a principal of Salesian private liceum). Special guests of the conference were Mr. Zbignev Bartsinski, president of The Polish Society of Ped- agogues NATAN, and Sister Dionisia Diado from Brazil. They shared their best practices of catechesis in their respective countries.
