5 Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk Major Archbishop of Kyiv-Halych Among the main accomplishments of the program, we would like to highlight the following ones: The UGCC had an opportunity for the first time in its history to think about the priorities of development on a global level by identifying parish life and ministry as a central element from which stems all ecclesial life expressed in the Church’s teaching, liturgical and private prayer and social ministry. The network of Eparchial Coordinators responsible for the implementation the Vibrant Parish program has proven to be an important innovation in the life of the Church. The chosen representatives from all eparchies/ exarchates have been able to exchange their experience and resources. The network of Eparchial Coordinators has helped to establish effective channels of communication within the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church contributing to the unity of the Church. The Working Group of the Vibrant Parish Program officially ended its mandate in September 2019 after pre- senting its final report to the Synod of Bishops in Rome and a new structure — Pastoral Council — is to contin - ue the legacy of its predecessor in close collaboration with the UGCC Patriarchal Curia. In view of these developments, we continue working tirelessly to make our service at the Patriarchal Curia more efficient and productive, reforming also, where needed, our previous approaches and adopting new strategies guided by principles of collaboration, fraternity and transparency. Finally, on behalf of all the employees of the Patriarchal Curia let me express our sincere gratitude to all the benefactors, both individuals and partner organizations, for your continuous and generous support. Please know that all the support you provided for the development and growth of our Church — contributed to the growth of the Body of Christ Himself and is already bearing good fruit here on earth as we are continuing our journey to the Heavenly Jerusalem.
