77 One of the priorities for the Department is a permanent formation of priests serving abroad. On May 13-16 in the suburbs of Madrid a spiritual-formation seminar was conducted for 50 UGCC priests serv- ing in Spain, Portugal, England, France, Austria, Hungary. On July 15-18 in Banja Luka (Bosnia) a second seminar was conducted on spiritual-formation for priests serving abroad on the topic: «Preservation of Christian identity and its role in the integration process as a counteraction to assimilation». The head of the Pastoral Migration Department Bishop Josyf Milyan had the following meetings and pastoral trips abroad in order to facilitate and expand the ministry of UGCC priests: a meeting with the representatives of the Hungarian Ministry of Human Resources for the discussion of the issue of spiritual care for Ukrainian migrants in Hungary . Another meeting was held with the Met- ropolitan of the Hungarian Greek-Catholic Church on the new wave of migration from Ukraine to Hunga- ry and pastoral care of Ukrainians; a series of meetings in Spain (Barcelona, Castelló de la Plana, Orihuela-Alicante, Madrid and Valencia, Ordinary of Murcia; a pastoral visit to the Republic of South Africa : a meeting with the Ukrainian ambassador to discuss the foundation of the first UGCC community on the African continent, serving the first Divine Liturgy in Pretoria and a meeting with local bishops and the Apostolic Nuncio to discuss the pastoral care of UGCC faithful; a pastoral visit to Israel visiting three Ukrainian communities; a meeting with Patriarchal Vicar for a discussion of cooperation and foundation of new communities in the Holy Land; pastoral visit to the Ukrainian communities in Portugal : Lisbon, Faro, Albufeira, Setúbal, Vila Nova de Gaia, Samora Correia. Working meetings with bishops of Setúbal and Aveiro dioceses.
