79 Priority for the development of our Church in Ukraine: Kyiv Archeparchy — 100 parishes Kamianets-Podilsk Eparchy — 60 parishes Donetsk Exarchate — 61 parishes Kharkiv Exarchate — 22 parishes Odessa Exarchate — 49 parishes Lutsk Exarchate — 27 parishes Crimea Exarchate — 5 parishes Six parishes of the Donetsk Exarchate are temporarily out of normal pastoral activity due to the war in Eastern Ukraine. According to the decisions of the UGCC Synod of Bishops, these areas in central, eastern and southern Ukraine are a top priority for the development of our Church in Ukraine. Very often parishes and priests lack the neces- sary infrastructure or church buildings and have to rely on external aid since small parish communities are not yet self-sustainable.
